n8:abstract
The Mire was a large, toxic wasteland between Undertown and the Twilight Woods. It was the dumpsite of Undertown's chemicals and was covered in bleached white mud. Activating Mire produces a small circular pulse which can destroy breakable objects and push other moveable objects away from you. With the upgrade Shearing Crystal, however, this pulse will instantly kill any low- or mid-level enemy caught in it, useful against unarmed enemies. The Mire is the eastern portion of the Two Rivers, southeast of the Waterwood, where the ground grows marshy near the meeting of the Taren River and the White River. Kategorie:Außerirdische Völker Kategorie:Humanoide Lebensformen Kategorie:Cyborgs Kategorie:Gegenspieler des Doctors Mire (スライム Suraimu, lit. Slime) is a Black Magic spell from Fire Emblem Gaiden, later appearing as a Dark Magic spell in Fire Emblem Awakening. When cast in Awakening, blobs of green slime will emerge around the selected enemy target's body before rupturing to inflict damage upon him/her. In Awakening, Mire can be purchased very early on from Gharnef or Raydrik when their bonus team is summoned through SpotPass. This spell can be gamebreaking in some of the later missions as it allows the player to safely kill off enemy commanders from across the map while denying their ability to even defend themselves. This works even against another unit with the same tome or an Archer / Sniper with a Longbow, should the latter be in the minimal range of the Mire user. The most obvious use is to keep smaller armies from escaping, and larger armies from catching you. It can also be used to harry an opposing army, and to catch up with scouts.
