rdfs:comment
The Montreal Junior Royals were not doing well at the gate after their Memorial Cup win in 1948-49. Competition from the Montreal Canadiens, the Montreal Royals, the Montreal Junior Canadiens, and football and baseball teams pushed the Junior Royals aside. The team was transferred to Granby in 1951-52. The team did not do well here also and finished dead last in the league. In 1952-53 the team was moved back to Montreal.
