Vambrace
rdfs:comment
Vambraces of various designs were worn throughout the galaxy, sometimes constructed to withstand the cutting power of lightsabers. This was done by forging the vambrace from a lightsaber-resistant material such as phrik, cortosis, or beskar, or by combining the vambrace with personal energy shielding technology, such as that which was common during the Mandalorian Wars. Notable individuals who wore vambraces included wearers of Mandalorian armor made of beskar, the Sith apprentice Warb Null, the Jedi Padawan Zayne Carrick, and the Sith Lady Darth Talon. Vambraces (French: avant-bras, Polish: karwasz, sometimes known as lower cannons in the Middle Ages) or forearm guards are tubular or gutter defences for the forearm worn as part of a suit of plate armour. Vambraces may be worn with or without separate couters in a full suit of medieval armour. The term originates in the early 14th century. They were made from either boiled leather or steel. Leather vambraces were sometimes reinforced with longitudinal strips of hardened hide or metal creating splinted armour.[citation needed] The Vambrace is a Glove-class piece of armor found in Golden Sun. It is found in a treasure chest in the small, optional dungeon Vault Cave, which is accessible as soon as you pass through Lamakan Desert. The Vambrace features a defense rating of 27, and it increases the wearer's base Attack rating by 5. It is bought for 1800 coins while its resale value is 1575. As a glove, it can be worn by all Adepts.

n5:abstract
The Vambrace is a Glove-class piece of armor found in Golden Sun. For when it can first be found, the Vambrace is a good addition to the party's inventory. It is extremely similar to the Battle Gloves which can be found later in the game as a random prize in Tolbi Spring for one of your Lucky Medals because the Battle Gloves features 26 defense and 8 additional attack. If you get Battle Gloves after getting the Vambrace, you should choose one over the other for equipping and sell the other off (unless you plan to equip two characters with this kind of hand armor). It doesn't really matter which one you wear because their stats are so similar, but know that the Battle Gloves can sell for 225 more coins. Both of these gloves have a superior, later counterpart in the War Gloves that can be bought in Lalivero, but none of these three gloves can compare to the amazing stats of The Lost Age's Riot Gloves.
