"Humility" Class Turret
rdfs:comment
The "Humility" Class Turret is a Space Pirate copy of the Galactic Federation's GM-42 ‘Growler’ Class Turret. The Space Pirates were able to acquire the GF turret, though found the cannon unit inadequate. They replaced the Growler's weapon with a powerful Galvanic Accelerator Cannon, causing it to deal more damage. However, the turret is still fairly slow and can be easily dodged by fast targets. The armor is also fairly weak. Samus Aran encounters these turrets in the Space Pirate's base in Agon Wastes on planet Aether. Samus can easily destroy them by firing a Missile or a Charge Beam shot. The "Vigilance" Class Turret was built to support the Humility. They are only found in three locations in the Space Pirate mining facility: Sand Processing, Security Station A, and Biostorage Access. The "Humility" Class Turret is an autoturret of Space Pirate design, based on the "Growler" Class Turret used by the Galactic Federation.

The Space Pirates copied captured Federation "Growler" turrets, but found the cannon unit inadequate. They replaced the Growler's weapon with a powerful galvanic accelerator cannon. The "Humility" turret packs a strong punch, but retains the Growler system's weaknesses. Fast targets can evade the crude targeting system, and the armor can't take much punishment.

Space Pirate defense system. Mechanism: "Humility" Class Turret Beam-weapon variant of captured Federation turret. Evade its fire with quick movement.

In Metroid Prime 3: Corruption they were outdated by the Remorse-Class Turret.
