Shifta (Phantasy Star Online 2)
rdfs:comment
Shifta is an attack buffing support technique in Phantasy Star Online 2. Shifta costs 20 PP to cast, and generates two pulses centered on the user, which increase S-ATK, R-ATK, and T-ATK for 15 seconds per pulse, for a total possible duration of 30 seconds, on each ally within its area of effect. Increasing levels of shifta, up to the maximum level of 15, require higher base T-ATK to learn, and grant larger bonuses. Shifta may be charged by holding the button down for a moment before releasing. Charged shifta doubles the pulses, for a total possible duration of 60 seconds, for the same PP cost.

Techtors have a number of passive skills to improve shifta, including shifta advance to increase shifta's bonus, and shifta critical, which adds a critical hit chance bonus to shifta's effect. Like all techniques, shifta may be set into the weapon palettes for rods, talises, and wands, or into the sub-palettes alongside consumable items and skills. Only characters with force or techtor as their current class or sub-class can use techniques.
