Which episodes are recommended for Torchwood fans who many not necessarily be Doctor Who fans

If you mean what Doctor Who episodes to watch - I'd suggest watching The Empty Child as that introduce Jack Harkness - and probably bad Wolf/ Parting of the Ways, as that is where he got his immortality from. I'd also suggest the Series 3 finale (Utopia/ Sound of Drums/ Last of the Time Lords) - following on from the end of Torchwood series one. These episodes help Jack come to terms with his immortality, and also feature Martha Jones who joined Torchwood briefly.
