Eris' Earring +1
rdfs:comment
In Greek mythology, Eris was the goddess of discord and strife. She was responsible for setting the events into motion that would cause the Trojan War. Her opposite is Harmonia. Eris is also the name of a dwarf planet discovered on January 7, 2005 orbiting past Pluto. It was named for all the chaos it caused among the astronomy community, namely what exactly defines a planet. It was initially considered the 10th planet, but a controversial IAU (International Astronomical Union) vote in August 2005 demoted Eris and Pluto to the status of dwarf planet. Eris is considered a Trans-Neptunian Object (TNO). Eris is larger than Pluto, 2400km (compared to Pluto's 2300 km). It has one moon, Dysnomia ("lawlessness").
