Selah (Japanese: セラ, Sera) is a Pokémon Trainer and one of the main three protagonists of Pokémon Zenith and Nadir. Selah was born in Omorfia City, the biggest city in the Enotita region. Selah grew up in an artistic household, singing from a young age. Due to living in Omorfia City, she would watch Contests, Fashion Shows, Gym Battles, and everything in between on a daily basis, coming to the conclusion at a young age that she wanted to be a singer when she grew up and got her first Pokémon. One day she was mad at her parents and ran out into the forest near Omorfia City without any Pokémon. She sat in the Hidden Grove singing, attracting all of the nearby Pokémon, but still, she had anger in her heart, like any small child. This anger along with her singing attracted her soon to be parter, and walking Pokémon, Lyra, a Meloetta. Meloetta sung alongside Selah, calming her heart through the interaction. The two bonded and Selah left. Selah would come back to the grove every day and sing to attract Lyra, and the two sung every day in the grove for years on end. Selah sent an application to Professor Mahogany in order to become a Pokédex Holder. She was accepted and when the day came to embark on her journey, she went back to the grove to see Lyra one last time, or so she had thought, only to find that Lyra had tiny bags of her own, ready to travel with Selah. The two left the grove happily, and Selah obtained her starter, and embarked on her journey finally. On the way she met two other Pokédex Holders, Neron and Zeiren, and decided to travel with them. On their journey they combatted the vile Team Geminus and discovered more about Mega Evolution and Synchro-Evolution. On the way Selah discovered a secondary task, inspired by Randal, to complete the Pokédex and see as many Pokémon so she can fully enjoy her journey.
