In the year 7,855 BC, at the age of 114, Valiha begins to build the city of her name. Ceryne begins to be built. It is not known was inspired Valiha to build an entire city for herself, but if she was a sorceress as claimed, she certainly had the means to do so. It is said that thousands of young, able-bodied men traveled to the spot where Ceryne would be built, almost if by a mindless command, and began construction, finishing it within a year akin to that of Drakonia's construction. Even while approaching exhaustion able to cause death, the men continued to work, eager to please their 'mistress'. She is said to have put a magical alluring aura on the city, causing everyone who saw it to prefer it above any other place. Nearby Ethromaia was almost completely abandoned because of this. While this magic has mostly faded by present day, everyone who goes to Ceryne usually wishes to come back. This has made it the most popular city-state, if a magical aura does indeed exist. The city continued to expand until her unexpected death, dying in 7,757 BC at age 212 from what is believed to be suicide. She was found in her villa in a pool of her own blood with a rusty knife lying at her side. While she is argued to have a strong will and would not kill herself as she was never particularly depressed or insane, supporters of it being a murder are few and far between, especially seven thousand years later. She also had few enemies, her only real rivals being the Ethromaians who did not move to Ceryne, who perceived her as 'stealing' the populace of the city, particularly the intellectuals and smart minds of the community.
