Food poisoning Food Poisoning
rdfs:comment
Food Poisoning, referred to in-game as Hunger, is a Status Effect added in the Adventure Update. Food Poisoning is contracted when one eats raw chicken, pufferfish, or rotten flesh, with each object having a different chance of poisoning the player. Food Poisoning will last about thirty seconds, but it can easily deplete the player's hunger bar. Drinking milk will cure the player from Food Poisoning immediately, removing all negative effects of it (Note: Drinking milk will also remove other status effects on the player, including postitive ones). Food Poisoning can be countered temporarily by moving as little as possible since movement is what drives hunger. Food poisoning was developed by the world famous G.P. Dr. Alfred Gregory as a method for ordinary humans to combat food. While not a threat in itself, food in sufficient (and excessive) quantities may disrupt and interfere with normal human life, and when events have deteriorated to that stage, drastic action is often necessary to remove the pest. Oftentimes, food poisoning is the preferred method to remove unwanted food from a building. Food poisoning is a general term for any illness that is caused by the consumption of food. Llhrei'sian could be gotten through food poisoning. (RIS Bouteina: "What about some D'oh!") Food poisoning is a general term for a number of diseases that are primarily transmitted through the ingestion of the disease agent. This can either be a bacteria (such as E. coli) or a toxin (such as botulism). Although the stomach can deal easily with small amounts of bacteria, large amounts can overwhelm the digestive tract, multiplying rapidly within the tract. Toxins are by far more serious – they can be present in even minute amounts and still be fatal. Food Poisoning is an The Long Dark.

Food poisoning is a general term for any illness that is caused by the consumption of food. Llhrei'sian could be gotten through food poisoning. (RIS Bouteina: "What about some D'oh!") Food poisoning was developed by the world famous G.P. Food poisoning is a general term for a number of diseases that are primarily transmitted through the ingestion of the disease agent. Treatment usually consists of determining the source of contagion. It is very rare for just one person to be affected – the condition often strikes whole families, or even persons who have eaten at the same place. Once the source is identified, treatment can be targeted to the specific ailment. In the meantime, treatment is largely to insure that the patient does not dehydrate from their nausea and diarrhea. Food Poisoning, referred to in-game as Hunger, is a Status Effect added in the Adventure Update. Food Poisoning is contracted when one eats raw chicken, pufferfish, or rotten flesh, with each object having a different chance of poisoning the player.
