After a long siege the city and the Citadel of Fornost were conquered from Keldin. The Fall of Fornost marked the end of Infinite Empire which lasted nearly 12,500 years. After the conquest John Keldin made Rakatha city as the capital of his religion. Several philosophers and intellectuals before and after the fall migrated to Ord Mantell.
