Jose Luis Ferrer was born some time in 2360's near the border between Tarekha in Davostan and Lagard in Hutori. Jose Luis Ferrer was born some time in 2360's near the border between Tarekha in Davostan and Lagard in Hutori. Little is known of his early years but from his 20's onwards he has been involved in numerous armed struggles throughout Terra. Through several decades of conflict he has fought alongside anarchist, communists, socialists, Zapatistas, Islamists and numerous other movements. He has been especially active in wars against fascist opponents. It is unclear when and how he became involved in what has now become Trabajo y Libertad but he currently stands as their candidate for defence minister. His whereabouts is unknown, except perhaps to the TyL national council, due to the security risk: there have been numerous assassination attempts against him over the years. In 2429, nearing his 70's, Jose Luis Ferrer was assassinated by an unknown group while traveling to a Trabajo y Libertad meeting in Kivonah where he was a member of the regional council. On a major road into the regional capital Kivono his car was struck by several rockets fired from a nearby bridge. Following his assassination the militant wing of Trabajo y Libertad supporters that he led carried out a small uprising claiming a sizable area of farmland on which they established a series of autonomous communal farms. At this time Trabajo y Libertad withdrew from the politics of Davostan in order to assist with the project of communal farming in Kivonah.
