One day, fed up of crime in The City, Max Hatchet and Blaze Fielding decided to end production at the Safe House. Using the "wall busters" on their Battle Wagon, the vigilantes burst through the wall of the building. Then, crashing open the doors to the back of the van, Max appeared with a bazooka commandeered from the dead hands of gang member Bananas and proceded to shoot a flammable tank, obliterating the factory. Despite his warning for the workers to "run for [their] lives", Max gave little notice and very few would have escaped.

The manager of the building managed to escape, saying he was lucky to get out alive, but Hawk made sure he shouldn't have by shooting him.
