Prior to this, the Djute tribe sided with Bern in an attempt to gain more power and to wipe out the rival Kutolah tribe. The leader of the Djute tribe was Monke. They lived primarily in the western portion of Sacae on the Etrurian border and were the keepers of Hanon's Gale Bow, Murgleis.
