Greg Keyes is the author of three New Jedi Order novels as well as the NJO short story Emissary of the Void. He was born in Meridian, Mississippi, to a large, diverse, storytelling family. He received degrees in anthropology from Mississippi State and the University of Georgia before becoming a full-time writer. He lives in Savannah, Georgia. He wrote the Chosen of the Changeling books (1996-97), and is famous for his steampunk/alchemical quartet The Age of Unreason (1998-2001). He also wrote the Babylon 5: The Psi Corps trilogy (1998-99), Star Wars: The New Jedi Order (2001-03) and The Kingdoms of Thorn and Bone (2003-08), as well as novel adaptations of the The Elder Scrolls computer game (2009-11). Greg Keyes was the author of the novel Firestorm, the prequel to the highly successful movie Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which was published by Titan Books on May 27, 2014.
