Avesta BK is an ice hockey team in Avesta, Sweden. Founded in 1932, they currently play in the fourth-level Swedish Division 2. They made one appearance in the top-tier Swedish Division I, during the 1966-67 season, but spent most of the decade playing in the lower-level Division 2 and Division 3. From the 1970s through the 1990s, they frequently played in the second-level Swedish Division 1, rotating between it and the third-level Swedish Division 2. They played in the new, third-level Division 1 from 1999-2003, but have played exclusively in the fourth tier or lower since being relegated after the 2002-03 season.
