Policy refers to the processes and rules observed involving the creation, editing, and management of articles on the Forever Knight as well as treatment of other users. This is to be distinguished from a guideline which suggests etiquette and practice to make management and presentation of information at the wiki more consistent and streamlined. Edits or new pages that are created that do not conform to a specific policy are subject to change by another user (assuming that change conforms with policy) without expectation of appeal to an admin, as is all content within the site. Treatment of users who engage in destruction of content, harassment, or mis-use of content is also governed by policy. There are very few policies that apply across all of Wikia. These can be found on the Central Wikia at Wikia:Category:Policy. Other policies for this wiki should be decided by the wiki community. It's generally best to keep policies as simple as possible, and not to introduce too many rules. A growing wiki can usually do well with a few simple policies and a lot of goodwill and cooperation. Adding [[Category:Policies]] to any policy pages will add them to the policy category. This is found . So you want to help us build Sharpe's Wiki? That's great, we need all the help we can get! After all, everything needs a certain amount of structure somewhere. As with all wikis, everyone can edit pages in Sharpe's Wiki. Just click the edit this page link at the top of any page (except for protected pages) if you think it needs any improvement or new information. You don't need anything special; you don't even need to be logged in. If you want to experiment first, without risk of "messing up" a real article, head over to a sandbox, where you can practice editing to your heart's content. To practice editing an existing page like this one, just copy and paste it from the article's edit page into the sandbox.
