Charles Tucker II was the son of Charles Tucker I and father of at least three children, including Charles "Trip" Tucker III, Elizabeth Tucker, and at least one other son. He was considered a bit eccentric. His eyes apparently bore a close resemblance to those of Lorian. (ENT: "Fusion", "First Flight", "E²", "These Are the Voyages...") When his son Trip was a child, Tucker encouraged him to become an engineer. (ENT: "Similitude") In 2152, while experiencing the Crossing, Trip relived raking leaves with his father when he was nine years old. (ENT: "The Crossing") In 2153, Tucker and his wife lost their daughter Elizabeth in the Xindi attack on Florida. (ENT: "The Expanse") Prior to her death, he used to bug her about giving him a granddaughter. (ENT: "Demons") Following the attack, he and his wife moved to Mississippi. (ENT: "The Augments") Tucker lost a second child in 2161, when Trip was killed in the line of duty aboard Enterprise NX-01. He and his wife attended the signing of the Federation Charter soon after. (ENT: "These Are the Voyages...") This character was only mentioned in dialogue. In the writers' second draft script of "Breaking the Ice" , Tucker was established as having repeatedly taken his son Trip up to the mountains with a telescope, whenever a comet passed by. In the final draft script of "Similitude", Tucker was referred to as having owned an ocean skimmer. According to the same teleplay, he had been about to replace the entire engine until Trip had determined the real problem. Charles Anthony Tucker II was a male human in the 22nd century. He was the son of Charles Tucker I, and the husband of Elaine Tucker. The two had three children: Charles Tucker III (nicknamed "Trip"), Albert Tucker, and Elizabeth Tucker. Furthermore, he was the paternal grandfather of Owen Salazar-Tucker. (ENT novel: The Good That Men Do)
