Division Delta Codenamed:Anti-Virus uses this weapon against hordes of the undead and even against the Umbrella Corporation. The Steyr AUG is the standard military weapon of its home country, Austria. It has also been adopted by armed forces of Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Republic ofIreland, Luxembourg, Saudi-Arabia, Tunisia and Pakistan. It is also used by the U.S. Custom service. Also is version of it manufactured in Australia, and used by their and New Zealand's armed forces. The cartridge it uses, the 5.56x45mm NATO is one of the most used in the world. The AUG is an Austrian bullpup 5.56mm assault rifle, designed in the early 1970s by Steyr Mannlicher GmbH & Co KG (formerly Steyr-Daimler-Puch). The AUG (Armee Universal Gewehr—"universal army rifle") was adopted by the Austrian Army as the StG 77 (Sturmgewehr 77) in 1977, where it replaced the 7.62mm StG 58 automatic rifle (a license-built FN FAL). In production since 1978, it is the standard small arm of the Austrian Bundesheer and various national police units. The AUG (Armee Universal Gewehr—"universal army rifle"), occasionally referred to as the SUG, is an Austrian bullpup 5.56mm assault rifle, designed in the early 1970s. The assault rifle is made of fiberglass reinforced olive-green colored polymer. Because of this, the gun is extremely lightweight, weighing only around 7 pounds. The gun has a scope with telescopic, all purpose practical donut sights that don't require power to operate. The Steyr AUG series is a family of firearms, first introduced in 1977 by the Austrian company Steyr Mannlicher. AUG stands for Armee-Universal-Gewehr, meaning "Universal Army Rifle." It is often used to refer to a specific version, especially the initial version which was 5.56 x 45 mm NATO bullpup assault rifle, with a distinctive green sleek frame and the permanent use of the Swarovski Scope. It has since spawned a variety of related weapons including a submachine gun, a designated marksman rifle, and various Light Machine Guns. It has been adopted by a number of armed forces and organizations and is the standard service rifle of Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Luxembourg, Ireland, and at one point Malaysia. In production since 1978, it is the standard small arm of the Austrian Bundesheer and various national police units. The Steyr Aug was a beta weapon in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. It appears to be an assault rifle, which means that it would have taken the assault rifle slot. Its model (steyr.dff) and its textures (steyr.txd), still remain on the PS2 disc. Augissa on vakiona vertikaalikahva. Ihan ok lähtönopeus, noin 90m/s. Augillä on EG700 moottori ja Mini (8,4 V) akku. Sillä on Tokio Maruin Versioona 3 rataslaatikko. Kuten monissa muissa aseissa tässä on säädeltävä hopup. La Steyr Aug era una arma que iba a aparecer Grand Theft Auto Vice City y en Grand Theft Auto V, pero por razones desconocidas fue eliminada. Murphy, the Irish mercenary that shoots McCarthy (Clive Owen) from the T-Rex uses a Steyr AUG. Later when they find the bullet in Jack Rafferty's badge, the bullet is far too large to be a 5.56mm. The Steyr AUG is a bullpup design — in other words, the firing chamber is located behind the trigger. Other notable features include its translucent magazines, allowing the amount of remaining ammunition within to be determined with a quick visual inspection, its vertical foregrip and the integrated scope of early variants. The weapon can also be quickly and easily converted for a left-handed shooter. The Steyr AUG is often incorrectly cited as the first bullpup assault rifle. However, this is not true, as the British-designed EM-2 preceded it. However, the AUG was the first bullpup assault rifle to see widespread use as the EM-2 was dropped after the prototype stage.
