Born on Taris, Nikinna was a mercenary for most of his life and rose to prominence as many people within the mercenary business referred to him as one of the best there was at the time. This led him to being hired by the Galactic Republic before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, and during the war he frequently assisted the Grand Army of the Republic by bringing them supplies and transporting troops during covert operations. He had one son named Lucas Secerno.
