Ta-Koro Gate
rdfs:comment
The Ta-Koro Gate was the gate to the Ta-Matoran village on Mata Nui. It was usually protected by two guards. A retractable bridge of stone pillars led from the gate to the interior of Ta-Koro. The gate was badly damaged during the Bohrok invasion, but was later rebuilt and improved. When three Rahkshi launched a raid on Ta-Koro, the gate was pierced by a blast from Guurahk's staff in spite of Tahu Nuva's effort to defend it. The gate was destroyed along with the rest of Ta-Koro when the powers of Panrahk and Guurahk weakened the village's foundations, causing it to sink into the lava. The sunken remains were destroyed by the Bohrok when they were released to clear the island.
