Nagarian Sakaros the Elder
rdfs:comment
Nagarian Sakaros, often called Nagarian Sakaros the Elder to differentiate him from his grandson, was a male Sith pureblood from Andaria. He was the husband of Velia Sakaros and the father of Velian, Tak, and Anticlea Sakaros. The soldiers ordered Nagarian and Velia to pay, and they again refused. Using the nonpayment as a pretext to eliminate "conspirators", the soldier opened fire. The Sakaroses were executed on the spot. Over two centuries later, Tak gave his last son the name Nagarian, hoping the boy would grow up to be the good man Tak remembered his father being.

n4:abstract
Nagarian Sakaros, often called Nagarian Sakaros the Elder to differentiate him from his grandson, was a male Sith pureblood from Andaria. He was the husband of Velia Sakaros and the father of Velian, Tak, and Anticlea Sakaros. Born and raised on Andaria, Nagarian knew little of the ancient Sith Empire and its culture. Though he was Force-sensitive, he also had no knowledge of or training in his abilities. However, he was trained in Var Shek by his own father. As he grew to maturity, he received a post-secondary education and went to work for the local government of his home city, Cresyl. He met Velia Tasparan while she was working as a legal clerk. The two married after dating for over a year. While Velia left work to raise their children, Nagarian continued to work for the city government. As Andaria's government became less stable and some senior officials moved offworld or relocated to the capital, Marinok City, Nagarian steadily advanced through the government's ranks, becoming a senior manager in the Zoning and Permits Department. He sent his sons to private school and taught them Var Shek as he had been taught by his own father. He and Velia spent much of their time with Velian and Tak, teaching them the importance of family. In 78 BBY, Andaria's government collapsed completely. Nagarian remained at his post, trying to maintain some stability for his family. In 75 BBY, Velia gave birth to Anticlea. Only months later, Velian became a soldier for the Nationalist forces. He was part of a raid on the Sakaros home; Nagarian and Velia had refused to pay double taxes to the Nationlist government, imposed because they were more exotic aliens than the usual mix of Humans, Rodians, and other common species.
