[Source] A name tag was a form of identification found among Imperial miners on Mimban. It proved citizenship within the five mine towns. Name Tags are Items that were added in Update 0.15.0. They are used to name Mobs. The Name Tag is a tool item, represented as a blank tag bound by a string. Using this tool in conjunction with a compatible item in the backpack allows the player to bestow a customized name (of 40 or fewer characters) upon that item. Using a Name Tag with an item that has already been given a custom name will rename the item. Name Tags are consumable items, and may only be used once. Name Tags are items that are used to name mobs by right clicking on the object or mob. Name tags are not craftable, so the only way to legitimately obtain them in survival is to find them inside of Dungeon chests, through Trading, or by Fishing. The new names will display over the head of the object or mob when the cursor is pointed at it which appears just as a player's name would. In 1986, employees of Mercy Hospital wore name tags. Police officers stationed outside Pavel Chekov's operating room also wore them. (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home) In the 22nd century, Starfleet personnel and MACOs had their names affixed to their uniforms. (Star Trek: Enterprise) In 2371, Kathryn Janeway identified Amelia Earhart by the name tag she was wearing, which read "A. Earhart". (VOY: "The 37's") A name tag is an object floating above a toon's head with the toon's name on it. The player's and their true friends' name tags appear in a blue font. Other toons' name tags appear in a green font. NPC toons' name tags are orange. All toons without a paid membership have the "Basic" name tag. Paid members have a "Member" name tag. Name tag fonts can be purchased in Clarabelle's Cattlelog; once purchased, the previous name tag is automatically replaced with the new one. An exhilirating game where one posts to the meme logged-in, then attempts to delete the comment as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, other memers try to catch posters by replying to them. It was originally called the "De-anon-anon Competition", but a clever anon came up with an excellent new name in part 104.
