Lorraine Dinovi is the distraught mother of murder victim Zach Lindsey in "The Dead Pool". As a single working mom, Lorraine's life revolved around her son, and so, as the episode opens, she has lost everything. To the best of her knowledge, her boy was universally liked, with a great girlfriend and many friends. Zach, however, had a lot more going on in his life than she ever knew. He and his best friend from Bensonhurst, Tommy Marcone, were stealing cars, and one night they took one belonging to Zach's silver-spoon teammate, Brian Morris. Brian's car contained designer performance-enhancing drugs, and despite what Lorraine believes, that the boy's rich family will get him off, he isn't responsible, nor is his overbearing father. The true killer, however, can't afford for news of the drugs to spread.
