The alliance of registered opposition parties consists of: * Al Wefaq * National Democratic Action Society (Wa'ad) * Progressive Democratic Tribune * Islamic Action Society (Amal) - recently banned by the government * Al Wahdawi * Al Ekha * Nationalist Democratic Rally Society The unlicensed opposition consists of: * Haq Movement * February 14 Youth Coalition * Al Wafa * Bahrain Freedom Movement Since the 2011 Bahrain uprising, all opposition parties have boycotted parliamentary elections and have continued a street protest movement to demand reforms.
