My opinion: if what they post is obviously garbage and no attempt to add to improve the wiki , take 'em out, no warning needed. I've been told by other admins at other wikis not to permanently ban any anonymous IP, though, as that can cause problems down the line if someone else gets assigned to it and wants to legitimately join. Usually a week or two is enough to discourage them, from my experience. As you can see from the outline, we'll tackle a "Field Guide to Trolls" later down the line. Any types you would like to suggest for coverage, other than that one? And here we be...this is the discussion page. This is not a page to air past grievances or issues with other editors or staff members. What is is a chance to ask questions about situations, add thoughts on your ideas of a staff member, help expand the definition on the main page, etc. So...discuss away! What does being a staff member mean to you, and how would you define it?
