Boric is the son of Doric, the dwarven master smith. His mother left the family when he was young, leaving Doric to raise Boric alone. At some point, his father sent him to the dwarven capital Keldagrim to receive an education, but Boric took it to mean that he had somehow failed or disappointed his father, as he had wanted to study under Doric. Over time, he started to resent his father for sending him away. He graduated with honours, proving himself a proficient smith in his own right. He returned to Asgarnia and avoided his father, sleeping rough if need be, and began sabotaging Doric. He hired the services of a wizard named Elijah to curse Doric's ore supplies and stole his orders. However, when he attempted to convince Sir Amik Varze to switch suppliers, an adventurer working for Doric appeared, causing Sir Amik to break off any trades until the situation was sorted. File:Audio options icon.png Boric is at peace again File:Audio options icon.png Boric as the Concealed dwarf. The adventurer brought Boric to his father, whereby they started arguing. The adventurer attempted to intervene, getting them to discuss their issues which either calmed or exacerbated the tension between them. After eventually sorting things out, they both realised that they were at fault for causing the tension and made up. Doric rebranded his business and brought Boric and the adventurer on board as partners. Boric convinced the new partner to help them expand, clearing out the cellar beneath Doric's workshop and refitting the display. Boric took over the supply chain of the business, but the increase in demand took a heavy toll on their supplies. He began tasking their new business partner with gathering coal and mithril ore, protecting their mining sites from living rock brawlers, and securing a contract with the Mining Guild. Completing Boric's tasks requires level 60 Mining and awards a total of 13,000 Mining experience and 39,000 charges for the Gofannon amulet. Boric is the son of Doric the master smith. When Boric was young, Doric sent him away to the dwarven capital Keldagrim, although he did not know that Boric wished nothing more than to stay with Doric. He was educated in Keldagrim where he graduated near the top of his class, showing he is a renowned smith. Upon return to Asgarnia he was very angry at his father. Under a disguise, he sought revenge by attempting to ruin his father's business by stealing his orders and fulfilling them himself. He also enlisted the aid of the Dark Wizard Elijah, an evil man who would curse ore rocks for Boric to summon a dangerous living rock brawler when mined. File:Audio options icon.png Boric is at peace again File:Audio options icon.png Boric as the Concealed dwarf. During What's Mine is Yours, Boric's evil ways are thwarted by an adventurer whose help Doric had enlisted and Sir Amik Varze of the White Knights. He is then taken to see his father for a reconciliation. After they settle their fight, Doric re-opens his business as "Doric & Son" and they live happily ever after. After the quest, he resides in the shop's mine, where he may assign several mining tasks. Whilst growing up in Lerilin, he moved to Marali early in his life and can still mostly be found either in the city or hunting the Marali Forest. In his life he fought many battles, such as the War against the Eye, the battles against the Blood Cult and during the Retaking of Mirith. After coming in possession of a much sought after Magic Stone in 42[7?], for a while he was hunted by Mercenaries but he escaped them and tried to pass on the Stone to Evers. During forest hunts, Boric can often be seen killing sheep. This has two reasons: not only is he a very fond eater of lamb chops, also once, a long time ago, his pet sheep Baa-rry betrayed him to the Sheep King resulting in his dislike for living sheep. If not fighting, he enjoys being in pubs drinking Marali Whisky and planning and organizing community events, such as the Great Oberin Talent Quest and Oberin Racing Extravaganza™, Rhyme Offs and a Human Chess PVP game.
