007 I want to talk about what 007 really means. We know from the finale that George and Izzie are intricately linked characters. George wound up in Denny's place and I think this is because George and Denny were one and the same. Denny was a good guy, so was George. We know that Mer told Izzie in the end that the TUMOR (Denny/George) was residing right in the middle of everything that made Izzie who she was (and she WAS the dream girl, the Judy Doll, the beauty queen, etc). Is it the case that this idea that Denny and George were the good guys the thing that gave these guys the license to do the sh!tty things they did to the women in their lives? George was thought to be the baby boy but this is the very thing which allowed hiim to do the things he did to people like Mer, like Callie. He w George O'Malley was a surgical resident at Seattle Grace Hospital. As an intern, George got off to a rough start but quickly became a very skilled and talented surgeon. Fellow resident Izzie Stevens was his best friend and for a brief time, he was married to Callie Torres. He was kind-hearted, compassionate, and loyal. He died shortly after jumping in front of a bus to save a woman's life.

He could do whatever he wanted because people would always see him as the good guy or the WEAKER KID. I am spellbound but the consistency in this story. I know we saw this coming for a long time but I guess I never thought Shonda would do it. She did it. I am glad that 007 is gone. I hope re-born George comes back but I am glad that the licenced to kill George is gone. And THIS IS WHY IT WAS BROUGHT UP IN THE SP WITH LEXIE. Lexie was shocked that George slept with Mer. But back in the SP George admitted he did something wrong with the MerGe. But that was an admission to Lexie. With the him signing the 007, he admitted it to Mer. And Mer drilling his skull could be a big sign that SHE SAVED HIM. George O'Malley was a surgical resident at Seattle Grace Hospital.
