Lowland vulture

The lowland vulture was a large, winged scavenger native to the planet Sphinx in the Manticore System. They averaged about ninety centimeters (three feet) in length with an average wingspan of two meters (6.5 feet), with two pairs of wings and powerful talons. They were found primarily in coastal and lowland areas, and were closely related to the much larger, mountain-dwelling peak vultures. (SK3)
