Ervin Ervin
rdfs:comment
Ervin occupies a space of more than 92 million square kilometers, more than double the size of our own worlds' Asia. It lies from partly south of Azalar's equator and extends to just beyond the northern polar circle. Lush tropical jungle fills its southern part whereas the middle is comprised of mostly hilly countryside. In the northern extremes of the continent is a small permanently frozen area due to the proximity to the poles. The glaciers have moved progressively southward ever since the start of the war. Forests cover part of the continent to the east. Ervin is Baltasar's protector. She ascended after the Balaur killed everyone else in her village. She has a strange connection with the holy tree.

Ervin is Baltasar's protector. She ascended after the Balaur killed everyone else in her village. She has a strange connection with the holy tree. Mountain ranges surround the western coast of the continent except for where they break just short of Ne'Sevan. Another system of mountains lies due north of Se'Vasan, although, these mountains were magically raised and not natural. The Continent is surrounded by steep cliffs and sheer drops. Waves often break into foam upon the jagged rocks that comprise most of the shore. The cliffs and jagged rocks are the result of terra-forming that did not go as well as planned. One of the branches of the second longest river system falls right off of one of the cliffs. The continent bears characteristic ravines that run down its heart, product of the moving-apart of the two tectonic plates that the continent sits on. Earthquakes were a frequent part of life, but ever since the war, they seem to have vanished completely. The southern tip of the continent experiences a mildly tropical climate. The middle a more temperate climate but with less than biting winters and mellow summers. To the north, harsh blizzards batter the countryside for a major part of the year, the remaining months however, experience more stable weather systems. Climate has gone askew ever since the imbalanced influx of magic from the World of Scrolls caused by the war. Severe winter now claims the entire continent in its frozen grasp.
