Heaven Smile

Heaven Smile first appeared at a meeting of the United Nations, where one of its operatives executed the organization's first suicide bombing attack. Hereafter, various other high-profile targets were hit, signaling the return of terrorism to the world. This early Smile, known then as a Smiling Face, appeared to be little more than a human who can trigger an explosion, but later on the Smiles became the more zombie-like, invisible and bizarre creatures seen in the game, possibly due to research done at the Colosseum. The smiles first appeared to cause chaos among the U.N. The United Nations had just acheived World Peace. Kun Lan didn't want that. He then created the Heavens Smiles. The Killer 7 was contacted to kill these creatures. The Kiler 7 were led by a 'good' god, named Harman Smith. The Killer 7 had the power to see the invisible smiles, and get a chance to shoot them. The smiles appeared in nearly every evil plot that Kun Lan was involved in. And the Killer 7 were not far behind. After Kun Lan's death, the smiles were eventually killed off by one of The Killer 7,[2] Garcian Smith.

This early Smile, known then as a Smiling Face, appeared to be little more than a human who can trigger an explosion, but later on the Smiles became the more zombie-like, invisible and bizarre creatures seen in the game, possibly due to research done at the Colosseum. The killer7 is called in to deal with the threat, only to find it rising higher and higher. The major international powers debate for some time before eventually reclassifying Heaven Smiles as non-human, thus giving themselves the right to exterminate them with moral impunity. Although Kun Lan survives, the group's activities presumably come to an end with the death of the Last Shot Smile. Additionally, Heaven Smile may have its conceptual roots in Flower, Sun, and Rain, another Kill the Past title, which briefly features a clone of minor character Step Sding who has been transformed into a living bomb (and detonates, destroying the Lospass Island shopping center.)
