Battle of Irestego
rdfs:comment
The Battle of Irestego was an unsuccessful attempt by the Golden Empire to defend Irestego against invasion by the Tetrarchy of Mezlagob. The Prime Fleet was present for the battle, and suffered enough damage that Tariun Sakaros subsequently ordered the Sith Star to run with some of its interior lights powered down and others turned off all together to save energy. Aware that they could not hold Irestego against the Tetrarchy, Rin Sakaros ordered Tariun to hold off the enemy to give time for the natives to evacuate essential personnel and supplies. The operation experienced some success, as several planetary leaders and crucial databanks were moved offworld under cover of the Prime Fleet, but the fleet itself lost four capital ships and sustained damage to most of the rest as a result.
