It remains in contact with Earth in educational, scientific and communication purposes. The Ahtialan government owns the weapon of mass destruction of particle cannon type, in 2009 the Republic is going to possess nuclear weapon.

Several lands have existed for thousand years when people from Earth were warped to Mikui central mountains. Massive migrations to the south and east ended with creation of so called Ahtialan countries, which united in 2001, after horrible distance war against the kingdom of Makratia. Today the republic exists as one country with a capital city in Kharnia.
