Zep was a pair of BFF-1 bulk freighters used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. Towards the end of Operation Skyhook Zep group came out of hyperspace at one of the Alliance's main weapons-storage compounds. Discovering that the cache was under attack by the Imperial frigate Retsub, they promptly escaped into hyperspace. The Zeps are beings appearing in the animated series The New Adventures of He-Man. Zeps are creatures living in Nordor. They look small and fuzzy, but they actually are androids, and able to become bigger ferocious beasts.

Zunächst denkt man, dass Zep für die Jigsaw-Morde verantwortlich ist, da er Dr. Gordon's Frau und Kind in ihrem eigenen Haus auflauert und gefangen nimmt. Per Videostream beobachtet er Dr. Gordon und Adam und wartet nur darauf, dass ersterer versagt. Später stellt sich heraus, dass sich in seinem Blut ein langsam-wirkendes tödliches Gift befand, für das nur Jigsaw das Gegenmittel besitzt. Um das Gegengift zu erhalten muss sich Zep entscheiden, ob er sterben will oder für sein Leben, das einer Mutter und ihrem Kind opfern könnte. Als Dr. Gordon's Zeit abgelaufen ist, macht er sich daran Frau und Kind zu erschießen. Danach macht er sich auf den Weg zu Dr. Gordon und Adam, um ihnen mitzuteilen, dass Dr. Gordon versagt hat. Auf dem Weg dorthin, wird er von einem ehemaligen Polizisten angeschossen. schwer verletzt, sowohl durch den Schuss als auch durch das Gift, kommt Zep bei Dr. Gordon an. Dieser überlistet ihn und tötet ihn schließlich mit Adam's Hilfe.
