Carabo
rdfs:comment
Carabo was a car in the 1970 Hot Wheels series. It was designed by Ira Gilford based on the 1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo Concept car. Opening scissor doors. Orange paint on the nose. Assorted Spectraflame paint. Released from Hong Hong and United States. Both can be found with white interior. This car was Mattel's first experiment with vertical opening doors. Based on how many times they have used this feature since then, they were not very sucessful. Because the metal used for the doors is so thin, the doors are very fragile, being hard to open or very prone to breaking in half completely.
