Ripper (CivBE)
rdfs:comment
The Ripper is an alien species in Civilization: Beyond Earth introduced in the Rising Tide expansion pack. It is the raptor bug's oceanic relative, with the same movement and almost equal strength. Rippers can be found anywhere throughout the ocean, being the most common alien in it. They are typically found patrolling their nests in groups and swarming any enemy that comes nearby. They can prove a nuisance to boats, but players can leash them to take control of them. They are useful for exploring undiscovered ocean while the player's navy is occupied.
