Nortie Vandego [d. 88 BG) was a member of the HuMed. She had graduated at the top of her class in 89 BG and then volunteered for this dangerous duty to inspect the Rossak Epidemic, as an assistant to Raquella Berto-Anirul. When Raquella was infected with the virus on Rossak, Nortie tended her until she also succumbed, two days later, and died soon after. Vandego was a slender young woman with chocolate-brown skin and a cultured voice.
