He also appeared on such television shows as It Takes a Thief (two episodes, both with series regular Malachi Throne and one with Alfred Ryder) and Quincy, M.E. (with Mimi Cozzens, Robert Ito, David Spielberg, and Garry Walberg). Gans died on 29 June 2010 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center due to complications from pneumonia. He was 78 years old.
