She was born into a litter of four with two, litter-mate sisters named Turkey(VAZF028) and Scrooge(VAZF029) and one brother named Rednose(VAZM031). The pups survived their first few weeks and started foraging with the adults. Santa's mother gave birth to another litter, and by this time Santa could care for herself. In October of 2011, when Santa was merely, eleven months old, she began to show signs of potential pregnancy but soon aborted her litter. At a year of age Santa started to be evicted by her mother every time Monkulus was expecting a new litter. In November, Monkulus evicted Santa for the first time along with her older sisters Kathleen and Zelda, but they later rejoined the gang. In February 2012, Santa was noted as pregnant along with her mother and two older sisters. In March 2012, Zelda aborted her litter while Santa gave birth along with Monkulus and Kathleen to Wensleydale II, Ole, Lasse, Inga and Bosse. The mixed litter survived their first two months, but sadly Wensleydale II was predated in May 2012. That same month Rednose died of disease. In October Santa was evicted with Kathleen, Zelda, Turkey and Scrooge. The evictees stuck together and Katleen took dominance over her sisters. They were soon joined by some Sequoia males, but only for a very brief period as they departed during an encounter with the Aztecs. Three Van Helsing males joined the females but left when three Aztec males named Che Che, Tabie and Bosse joined up with the females. However, they only stayed for a few days before leaving. The females soon rejoined the Aztecs where her older sister Kathleen overthrew her mother the very next day. In November there was another group split, in which most Aztec members, including Santa and her mother, were present in.
