TripleSix
rdfs:comment
The TripleSix worm arrives as a zipped file, and the worm itself is a VBS file. It plays a simple game with the user, and if the answer blank is left, well, blank, the worm mass mails itself using Outlook. On the 5th of every month the worm drops the vanhoutan.bmp file and sets it as the Windows desktop. Makes sense, as all of the subroutines in the virus code are named after characters from the TV show The Simpsons. Worm.VBS.TripleSix, also known as TripleSix, 666test, VanHouten, or by the misnomer Virus.VBS.TripleSix, is a worm on Microsoft Windows written in Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition.
