Hemostat HEMOSTAT
rdfs:comment
[Source] Hemostats were devices used by surgeons to stop bleeding from damaged arteries during surgery. By 20 BBY, hemostats were largely outdated by pressor generators That year, the Republic surgeon Jos Vondar was forced to use a hemostat when his pressor generator was disabled at Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7 during the battle on the planet Drongar during the Clone Wars. A Hemostat is a health regeneration item. It doesn't increase health, however; it only stops the bleeding. In Resident Evil Outbreak and Outbreak File 2, the playable character George Hamilton can create hemostats by combining red herbs with his medical kit. It will stop growth of the t-Virus for 30 seconds ( as well stoping the infection caused by the Nervous gas and the Smoke caused by the Train Colition in Underbelly). Also, George (or any character using the Ampoule Shooter) can use 2 of these items to make a foe get taunted (Zombies,Hyenas, and even Zombie Elephant). The Hemostat is a health recovery item in Dino Crisis 2. Hemostat is used to stop the initial bleeding, but it does not replenish any health. When you have purchased the Inner Suit and the Light-Weight Armor, the hemostat will be no longer needed.
