Microbe Swarm
rdfs:comment
While the original Mixmaster was a creation of the Proudfoot corporation it has since mutated in their absence. The creature was created when a sample of Mixmaster came in contact with some hydrophilic microbes and fused it with another deep-sea microbe, described as only being found in ocean vents and an extremely rare silcone-based organism. These microbes where part of a shelved experiment to create an organic food preserver, orange in color, that were prepared before hand in case it got out of control. This new creature was stronger than its predecessor and it was able to resist the compound designed to destroy the original and had a hunger for fluid of any kind. The microbe swarm was a genetic chimera of two bacteria species; one a hydrophilic bacteria used as an experimental food preserver, the other an extremely rare silicone-based deep sea organism. The microbe swarm appears as a large, semi-translucent, luminescent gelatinous mass. The swarm is greenish in color. It derives energy by breaking down water molecules, which it typically absorbs from other organisms. It is capable of draining the moisture from a creature within a matter of seconds, leaving nothing behind but a dried and dessicated corpse. They only known living swarm was sucked into a powered-up vaccuum cleaner and given to the U.S. government for study.
