FAQ:Why does creating a new After Effects Composition through Dynamic Link fail?
rdfs:comment
|tlc51369, if i connect a camera and create a New After Effects Composition i get the same error in PPro.It seems to happen only when previewing through a firewire device in PPro and AE. Disabling preview through a firewire device in either PPro or AE solves the problem.A workaround is to disable the preview in PPro or AE prior to creating a New After Effects Composition and then enable it after the link has been imported into PPro. |} * tlc51369 said: {| border="0" style="background:#efefef;"

A quicker work around is just to start After Effects before you make the new comp. |}
