The Liberal Society was a liberal nationalist political party in the Selucian Republic. The party was founded in 3827 by Octavia Flavia Hadriana as the Society of Gods and Men, the merger of the secular-liberal Action Party and the Pagan reactionary Plebeian Brotherhood Party, by uniting the two main supporters of the rights of Felinist refugees during the Barmenian Refugee Crisis. In 3838, allied with the Union of Capitalists and Patricians, the Society was successful in bringing down the Selucian Imperium and founding the Selucian Republic in its stead, thus putting an end to the Refugee Crisis. In 3840 the party was renamed as the Liberal Society, adopting a less explicitly religious name. The party was led throughout its existence by Octavia Flavia Hadriana, and was thus seen as her personal political faction. After her assassination the party disintegrated, and its remnants later formed the Pagan Republican Party in 3851.
