2nd Tennessee Cavalry (C.S.)
rdfs:comment
The Second Tennessee Cavalry (C.S.) was a cavalry regiment of the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. Its origins are somewhat murky, but it was formed in 1862, but was not known to the Richmond government until the following year, due to the vagaries of military and civil politics. It was under the command of Clark Barteau by 1864, when it participated in the attack on Fort Pillow.
