Senator Safely
rdfs:comment
Senator Safely is the clumsy politician in charge of child safety. He appears in Operation: S.A.F.E.T.Y. as a senator who is often ignored and mocked by his fellow senators, who love nothing more than to sit around all day passing laws to make children miserable, and couldn't care less about things to help kids. However, when Senator Safely eventually becomes too annoying to listen to, the head senator gives him "eleventy billion dollars" to fund and research ways to keep kids safe just to go away. The result is a series of defiant 'safety sentinels' called Safely Boots, which were created to keep kids safe from everything. The Safety Bots soon destroyed everything with even the smallest margin of threat to children, much to Safely's pleasure. Unfortunately, the robots soon realize that the one thing that also is a threat to child safety were adults, including Safely. It wasn't until the robots ultimately destroyed themselves (unwittingly by Numbuh 4 and his little brother named Joey Beatles) after realizing they were a threat to children themselves, did everything to go back to normal.
