n16:abstract
The Medical Core, or "Medical Corps", is a part of the Federal Armed Services in which trained military personnel are responsible for providing first aid and frontline trauma care on the battlefield, as well as more serious treatment behind the frontlines. They are also responsible for providing continuing medical care in the absence of a readily available physician, including care for disease and non battle injury. The Medical Corps is the force within Federal Armed Services charged with the training and deployment of Medical personnel along with relevant equipment. The Medical Corps' most notable units are those of Combat Medics whom are regularly seen along Mobile Infantry units. It functions alongside both the Mobile Infantry and the Fleet.
