Wantuni (Majatran: النجد Al-Najd) is a national entity situated in Southeast Majatra. It is part of the Central Majatran Federative Democratic Republic. The Wantunis, a Majatran ethnic group, are the largest minority in Kalopia-Wantuni, and their numbers have greatly increased as a result of the genocide of Kalopians at the hands of Wantunis. For centuries Kalopians have competed with Wantunis for the control of the same land, and this spiral of ethnic conflict and hated culminated in a mass genocide of Kalopians by the Wantuni Hegemony, which in turn lead to a revolution that created the Central Majatran Federation. The Federation also recognized the existence of Wantuni as a distinct national and political entity of Central Majatra, albeit on a much reduced territory.
