The Garage THE GARAGE
rdfs:comment
It was presumably built by Doctor K sometime after Corinth was built so she could train the rangers. During the series finale it is shown that K and the rangers all moved on to different things, so it is unknown if the garage is still used or not. The Garage (2006) is a feature-length movie created by Carl Thibault. The Garage is a venue used in the band's TV series. In the series, Tenacious D performs at the Open Mic Nights, fictionally hosted by Paul F. Tompkins. In real life, the venue has changed its name numerous times since the series was filmed, and is currently called The Virgil. THE GARAGE is a non-profit youth center and all-ages music venue in Burnsville, Minnesota, a southern suburb of Minneapolis. It receives a portion of its funding and operating budget from the City of Burnsville. It is a launching point for local musicians and artists due to its high youth attendance and music industry collaboration. Bands such as Down and Above, Dropping Daylight, Escape from Earth, Four Letter Lie, Quietdrive, and Screaming Mechanical Brain built followings there. In 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008, THE GARAGE was declared "Best All Ages Venue" by local magazine City Pages.
