Knight Style is one of three different combat styles for Sonic the Hedgehog that a player can play with in Sonic and the Black Knight. Knight Style grants the player an equal balance in power and speed with its main focus being the increase in the usage of Soul Surge. Knight Style is most associated with Sir Lancelot due to Lancelot only being playable in Knight Style. The player can improve Knight Style by raising its Proficiency Level which is done by completing Missions with it. The number of stars the player receives at the end of each Mission will be accumulated to raise Knight Style's Proficiency Level. The number of stars required to reach the next Proficiency Level can be confirmed from the Status Screen where the player can change the combat style. By increasing Knight Style's Proficiency Level, the player will unlock more skills.
